GIQ Coal Surface Generic Induction
Effective 1 October 2010, coal mines in Queensland have to comply with Recognised Standard 11: Training in Coal Mines which is a new Standard for meeting health and safety obligations in the coal mining industry in Queensland. To meet this obligation, the Mining Industry Skills Centre has released the GIQ Coal Surface program.
GIQ Coal Surface is a program owned and managed by the Mining Industry Skills Centre. Central Queensland Institute of TAFE is licensed by the Skills Centre to deliver the program.
