Who we are
In an effort to maximise skilling opportunities for Queensland's more than $8 billion mining industry, TAFE Queensland (TQ) Mining Services was formed in 2001.
TQ Mining Services is an industry-focused delivery unit within the TAFE Queensland network administered by Central Queensland Institute of TAFE as the Registered Training Organisation. It is the single largest training organization in Queensland registered to deliver nationally recognised training in all national training packages in the mining sector: coal, metalliferous, extractive and drilling, from Certificate I through to Advanced Diploma level.
The TQ Mining Services team has exceptional expertise in providing quality training, assessment and resource development services for the diverse range of organisations in the resources sector across Queensland and beyond. Many organisations have become long term partners while others continually choose TQ Mining Services for customised skilling and resource development projects.
