How do I get paid?
You should provide a quote for your services that incorporates the following:
-
Locating students and enrolling them using CQ TAFE enrolment forms. CQ TAFE may refer students to preferred contractors but essentially the contractor should be prepared to locate their customers/students.
-
Collection of any enrolment fees as prescribed per program.
-
Completion of Training and Assessment Strategy documentation
-
Delivering training and assessment. CQ TAFE has strict AQTF requirements meaning that you will use either our training and assessment resources or have your materials approved in advance.
-
Returning all documentation and fees to CQ TAFE.
CQ TAFE will pay on completion of completed competencies per student or as negotiated. You will be paid via direct funds transfer.
How does CQ TAFE select a co-provider?
Selection will be based upon:
-
Cost
-
Quality and experience
-
Location where you can deliver
In operation jobs may be offered to the preferred provider(s) first but point-in-time and locality issues may dictate the use of other providers.
Is there a limit to the amount of training that I can do?
Yes. Each contractor must have a clear understanding of the funding limitations. A contact officer in CQ TAFE will be assigned to you and before you commit to any training you must have the exercise approved in advance.
