How are my training needs identified?
By conducting a process called a skills audit and training needs analysis to assess the level of skills within your organisation.
A skills audit is a process where skills held by employees are identified and compared with skills required now and in the future so that the skill shortfall or surplus can be determined. This skill shortfall forms the basis of a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) so that the company can reach the desired skill base amongst its employees. Using the results from a TNA will help define your training requirements and to plan and develop programs to better suit your needs.
