This program offers advanced technical training to people who may have completed PMA40108 Certificate IV in Process Plant Technology or other relevant qualification, or who have significant relevant industry experience without formal qualifications.
Units of Competency
Ten (10) units must be completed: Four (4) Core units; and Six (6) Elective units - Electives will be chosen to suit industry needs.
What will I receive?
On successful completion students will receive a Diploma of Process Plant Technology or a Statement of Attainment for competencies completed.

Students must be currently working in the Process and Manufacturing Industries. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Your history of study, skills and experience does matter. Consideration is given to your prior life and work experiences as well as formal and informal training. This may be applied using the national standard for Mutual Recognition or through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Documentary evidence will be requested. This course is currently offered on job in partnership with industry and also as recognition of prior learning (RPL).
Approximately 450 hours of study time plus onsite visits will be involved however, the training duration will depend on the electives and study mode selected.
Employment options may include roles as a Plant Manager, Production Manager or Works Manager in a production or manufacturing enterprise.
