CQ TAFE TO CQUniversity
The benefits of tertiary study are well recognised and TAFE is an integral part of that picture. The supportive environment offered by TAFE prepares many people for university-level qualifications and provides credit and reduced study time at university along the way. Increasingly, professionals, high-achieving university graduates and people from a wide variety of backgrounds are also turning to TAFE for the quality, value-for-money training that provides the challenges and practical programs they are seeking.
CQ TAFE and CQUniversity have a long standing working relationship, committed to promoting and creating pathways for life-long learning, and are now offering simpler access to Bachelor Degree programs in the form of combined diploma/degree offers.
- Diploma of Business/Bachelor of Business
- Diploma of Management/Bachelor of Business
- Diploma of Business or Diploma of Management/Bachelor of Business
Business students now have the opportunity to study and complete the Diploma of Business or the Diploma of Management with Central Queensland Institute of TAFE in one year, then obtain direct entry into a Bachelor of Business program with CQUniversity. Upon successful completion of their TAFE program, the Bachelor of Business can then be completed within two years. This program provides students with additional opportunities to enter university study. Students will study this program through Central Queensland Institute of TAFE and CQUniversity Rockhampton.
TAFE to University
As a TAFE graduate, you can articulate to university and in some cases obtain credit transfer to reduce the time it takes to complete your degree. For more information, including articulation arrangements TAFE Queensland has with a range of universities, refer to Education Pathways section.
