Non-accredited courses
Sometimes referred to as Adult Community Education (ACE) courses, these non-accredited courses are advertised locally by various institutes. They are a great way to get a taste for a skill area, and are often a step along your learning pathway to even greater possibilities.
Adult Community Education courses are open to people over 15. Typically, course duration is two to three hours weekly, over six to eight weeks, or full day Saturday workshops.
Accredited short courses
Some short courses are accredited and designed to provide knowledge and skills across a wide range of topics, including art, computers, wine appreciation, small business, languages and sport.
